World Piano Day '19 at Yamaha Music London

Piano Day

Friday 29th March 2019, Instore at Yamaha Music London

We love pianos. No other single instrument offers the range of emotion that can be expressed via the piano. We built our first piano over 120 years ago; since then, we’ve redefined what a piano is capable of with our Silent, Disklavier, TransAcoustic and synthesis science and technologies.

So we’re thrilled to be a part of World Piano Day!

Taking place on March 29th - the 88th day of the year (88 being the number of keys on a traditional acoustic piano), Piano Day is an opportunity to celebrate everything to do with the piano - the performers, the music, the listeners - and the instruments themselves.

Join us instore, watch us on Facebook and Instagram or - for a chance to win a very special experience - enter our Piano Day competition. Lift the lid and take it away...

Instore Piano Performances

Throughout Piano Day, we'll be hosting unique piano performances instore.

No need to book - simply turn up, enjoy and, if you feel inclined, explore and try out our award-winning range of acoustic, hybrid, digital and stage pianos.

Acoustic & Hybrid Pianos

Our stunning Yamaha Piano Hall features an awe-inspiring range of grand and upright pianos, many featuring our ground-breaking Silent, TransAcoustic and Disklavier technologies.

Ask our specialist team of pianists for a demonstration - or take a seat and try them yourself.

Digital & Portable Pianos

For over half a century, we've researched and developed the science of sonic synthesis - the creation of sound.

Today, our digital pianos use our latest technology to offer an experience virtually indistinguishable from the real thing - with the added bonuses technology brings.

Ask our instore team to guide you through the range.

Stage & Synthesizer Pianos
