Magdy Abdel-Rehim is an established professional guitarist, teacher and a singer/songwriter, based in London since 2000. Magdy spent much of his early years at the BBC, working on audio analysis and manipulation, helping him gain a vast knowledge and ear for detail regarding tone establishment on acoustic/electric guitars, amplification and guitar effects.
Magdy performs regularly both as a session guitarist and as frontman for his band Cairo Son. When not on the road or in the recording studio, he is one of the most popular guitar teachers at MGW, providing one-to-one and group tutoring for many students in London.
