Question: Can the L-2C Stand fold up?

Answer

The L-2C does fold up but is designed to be kept in situ (it screws into the base of the keyboard, unlike a folding and height-adjustable 'X' stand on which the keyboard just sits). This makes it very stable but less convenient if storing the keyboard away after use.

Question: Can the Yamaha L2C Keyboard Stand be used with the P-35B piano?

Answer

The L-2C Stand isn't suitable for the P-35 Digital Piano (the P-35 doesn't have the fixing points for the L-2C).

Thanks for the question. Yes, the Yamaha L-2C stand is suitable for the YPT-220.

Question: Does the L2C fold-up and is it portable? Do you need to screw it to the keyboard?

Answer

Thank you for the question. Though it does fold up and is therefore portable, the L-2C stand must be screwed into the base of compatible Yamaha keyboards when in use and unscrewed to fold up. This doesn't take long at all (no tools are required) but isn't quite as quick as lifting a keyboard from an 'X' stand.
