The L/R Hi-Z & XLR inputs allow you to connect keyboards, mics, and other digital instruments, with a gain control designed for dynamic microphones. The Aux-in port allows you to connect iOS devices to use as effectors, or to play along with your favourite tune via an audio device. This function also allows you to record directly into recording apps, making it perfect for times when inspiration hits.

A powerful feature of the Session Cake is the ability to connect up to 8 units together, allowing musicians to have full-blown jam sessions and rehearsals where everyone contributes to the mix. The addition of the ‘Me’ control knob ensures they each member can adjust the volume of their own part without affecting the other instruments in the session. This is perfect for times when you can’t quite hear your own or other people’s instruments.
