Projection and flexibility
The sound scape has been achieved via the combination of factors. The two-piece gold brass bell with soldered bell rim gives the instrument its strong core and enormous projection. Plastic valve guides give a more flexible sound whilst the lightweight finger buttons and valve caps not only contribute to the flexibility of the sound but also the additional benefit of a fast response. And while the warm, balanced sound of the YTR-6335RC equips the instrument well for life in the studio and more intimate concert settings, the silver-plated YTR-6335RCS delivers a somewhat more brisk and powerful performance that really cuts through the mix on stage with a big band or horn section.
