Keeping the same basic design of the hugely successful YTR-4335G, the new version offers some real improvements in terms of playability and a more powerful sound. The 4000 series now comes with a modified two-piece gold brass bell with a thickness of metal that has improved both sound and playability. Newly designed heavier valve caps and buttons give the trumpet more projection and power.

The newly redesigned, durable yet light two-piece bell is made of gold brass for a wide range of tone colors and to promote good technique and endurance.
New piston, piston caps and buttons

New tuning slides

Question: I'm a Grade VIII level student looking to buy my first trumpet. The YTR-4335GII is in my price range - would it be suitable for me?
Answer
The YTR-4335GII is an excellent trumpet and should do everything you need for Grade 8. As always, as you move up our trumpet range (culminating with the Custom Xeno models), you'll find that the response, tonality and overall playability improve.
If your budget allows, we'd suggest the next model up - the YTR-5335G. This model inherits much from the much higher end YTR-6335GII (from our Professional tier) but uses the 2 piece bell from the YTR-4335GII to make it much more affordable. This makes the YTR-5335G superb value for money - and a trumpet that should last you for many, many years.
Otherwise, the YTR-4335GII is still an excellent choice and should serve you well.
